The Occupational English Test (OET)

The OET is recognised by The General Medical Council (GMC) and The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and is designed for healthcare professionals who want to work in the UK and Ireland.  The test is proof of your English Language competence and is a skills test not a knowledge test. We are offering OET for Nurses (Nursing) but all healthcare background are welcome. Our partner, MC Academy, have been offering preparation courses for the OET for Nursing and for Doctors (Medicine) for years. They have helped numerous students from all around the world (online classes) and to-be-nurses in the UK (face to face in Manchester) achieve the results they need.

OET Preparation Course

What is the OET Exam Preparation course?

The course will help you prepare for your OET test and give you practice in the exam strategies required to approach exam tasks and be successful in the test.  During the course you will complete past test papers and receive spoken and written feedback on your progress. As well as helping you prepare for the OET test, the course helps you to prepare for the workplace and focuses on developing your skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking as well as grammar and vocabulary.

If you have just relocated or are planning to relocate to the UK to work as a nurse, we have a bonus small-group advice session on the UK Nursing Industry that you can join. For more details about the advice session, please contact us or check out the page here (in Chinese only).
